Day One • Saturday, September 7
Meet at Walmart on east side of Columbus on Whitfield Drive to leave. We will stop in Frankfort, KY and Lexington, KY to pick up groups and begin our trip. We overnight in Pennsylvania.
Day Two • Sunday, September 8
Welcome to Cape Cod!
Breathe the salt sea air and feel the coastal breezes as we arrive to the beautiful shores of Cape Cod! Arrive to the Red Jacket Beach Resort overlooking spectacular Nantucket Sound, for a relaxing five-night stay.
Day Three • Monday, September 9
Martha’s Vineyard Island
After breakfast, meet our local Tour Guide at the hotel and depart for Woods Hole to board the Steamship ferry for a short cruise to the beautiful Island of Martha’s Vineyard. Located seven miles off the coastline, this Island offers a vacation ambience unlike any other. Once an early refuge for coastal ship traffic, it blossomed into a whaling community in the 18th and 19th century and evolved to what is now a popular tourist destination of today. Explore the diversity of its island towns, take a walk along our pristine shores, and step back in time to a more leisurely pace. Enjoy a guided tour of Oak Bluffs which is noted for its collection of small Carpenter Gothic cottages clustered in the Methodist Camp Meeting Grounds, and Edgartown, known for is stately Greek revival homes built by sea captain of years ago. This afternoon, re-board the ferry and cruise back to the mainland for a delicious dinner together. B, D
Day Four • Tuesday, September 10
Chatham, Cape Cod National Seashore & Provincetown Whale Watch
Following breakfast, we’ll depart with our Tour Guide for a fun-filled day touring the lower and outer Cape! Begin touring through the charming seaside village of Chatham with a picture stop at the Chatham Light. Continue on to the Cape Cod National Seashore for spectacular views off the cliffs overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Continue on to Provincetown – the tip of the Cape, and spend some time browsing around the downtown waterfront area with all its artistic and eclectic shops before embarking on an exciting Whale Watch Cruise! Be sure to have your cameras ready as we view these magnificent mammals frolic and feed in their ocean playground. Tonight we’ll feast on a traditional Cape Cod lobster dinner at one of the Cape’s popular seafood restaurants! B, D

Day Five • Wednesday, September 11
Nantucket Island
After breakfast, enjoy a brief tour of Hyannisport, home to the Kennedy’s with a special ‘group photo’ stop at the Kennedy Memorial and Korean War Memorial overlooking scenic Veteran’s Beach. Then we’ll board the Highspeed ferry for a cruise to Nantucket Island. This island fondly known as “The Gray Lady” was once the whaling capitol of the world back in the 1800’s. Now a popular vacationing spot for the wealthy, Nantucket’s charm is associated with its cobblestone main street, narrow roads, simple Quaker-style homes and handsome houses dating back to the whaling days of the early 19th century. Enjoy free time to explore at our leisure, enjoy lunch on our own, and meander through the many charming shops before we enjoy a guided tour around this beautiful island. Later this afternoon, re-board the ferry for our cruise back to the mainland. Tonight, gather for a delicious dinner at one of the Cape’s local favorites! B, D

Day Six • Thursday, September 12
Hyannis & Sandwich
Enjoy breakfast before meeting our local Tour Guide and depart for a guided tour of Hyannisport and Sandwich. Begin with a tour of Hyannisport, home to the Kennedy’s, viewing Saint Francis Xavier Church, and enjoy a picture stop at the Kennedy Memorial overlooking scenic Veteran’s Beach. Enjoy a visit to the Kennedy Museum before continuing on to historic Sandwich, Cape’s oldest town. Enjoy a tour of the village, stroll around Shawme Pond, view the historic Dexter Grist Mill and take a sip out of the ‘fountain of youth’. Visit the historic Sandwich Glass Museum for a glass blowing demonstration. This afternoon, we’ll return to the resort to enjoy the beach and amenities at our leisure. This evening, we’ll finish off with a traditional Cape Cod Lobster Dinner at one of the Cape’s great restaurants! B, D
Day Seven • Friday, September 13
This morning after breakfast, we bid farewell taking our fun-filled Cape Cod and Island memories home with us. We will stop for an overnight in Pennsylvania. B
Day Eight • Saturday, September 14
After breakfast at the hotel, we will continue our drive home.

Many Conway Tour clients have traveled together so much we are like family. We meet at the Elk's Club at the airport in Columbus the 4th Tuesday of each month at 11:00 a.m. for lunch to catch up between trips. Join us!
